[25/11/2024] Knight of The Bettelion
Painting re-creation I made for the Bettel Gallery Project. Original is "Knight of The Flowers" (1894) by Georges Rochegrosse. Beautiful painting, it was very interesting to work on.
The images are separated into sketches and years for your (and my) convenience. Click for better quality! All digital images were made using Clip Studio Paint unless stated otherwise. If I have something to say abut a particular drawing and it's more than a paragraph long I will include a link to the relevant text post.

Special dapper Cyto for the website anniversary! I'm really happy with how it turned out, my green creature in all of its extraterrestrial glory! This drawing is accompanying this post.
Birthday drawing for my dear friend Yvette! It was a lot of fun to make an illustration like this, always a pleasure to work on gifts. Train referenced.
These were supposed to be “warm-up sketches” but i got carried away as always. I've been watching Joseph Anderson's Danganronpa vods. Not a huge fan of the games but I have to admit they are very entertaining. So I couldn't NOT draw the guy. Mr. Danganronpa. I do like his almost tragic tool for the narrative but self-aware vibe. What can I say, I find a certain kinship with Joker-style sickos.
While I have you here check this.
Hanging out on a Magma board with friends it felt right to draw Minnatsuki. The area depicted is Glass Cathedral from the Yume Nikki fan game Collective Unconscious. Funny story, I haven't been there before I started drawing, so when I went to look at it and listen to the ost I got lost on the way and ended up triggering the doppelganger event. What a fun game.
Super self-indulgent drawing that I started back in May. Very happy with how it turned out! The slime in the bottom right corner looks a little too transparent let's say it's been diluted by the rain. Nothing crazy but I think it's nice. The sketch for it is pretty funny so I'll include it below.

Birthday drawing for my oshi Gavis Bettel of Holostars English!(feat. very tired Shinri) This was a part of a project that you can check out here! I have a lot to say about the thought process behind this one so expect a blog post to be added here.

Drawing for my friend Manna of her character Faust in a suit of armor (feat. her dog Pico and Lidl)
Birthday drawing for my oshi - Regis Altare of Holostars English! Also couple days late lmao sorry leader.
It has become a tradition for me to draw my characters for every New Year's celebration. I love looking back on all of the old ones and seeing how much they've changed in a year. It feels special to draw something so close to my heart on such a special day. Always makes it a bit brighter, something I look forward to.
Drawing I did for the Gavis Bettel Tarot Project! It was super fun. I was trying to stay more or less true to the Chariot's color palette and symbolism. The card is supposed to have a border which is why the composition here is a little strange.
Portrait of Mr. Markiplier. This is actually a re-draw of this one i drew all the way back in 2017 [link].
Fanart for this music video. Believe it or not the blue glowing effect was actually done in blender! Needlessly complicated, but you have to admit it looks nice.
My favorite vtuber group Holostars Tempus! Drew this all the way back when the colored wheel trend was going on on the web. They really fit the format.
